In late 1979, the residents of Selimiye wake up to a devastating explosion after the Independenta oil tanker is detonated.

Ali tries to survive the explosion by repairing the broken windows of the neighbourhood. Oğuz has a plan to find a permanent home for Elmira, who has taken refuge in Zargana's hut.

Jakson searches for clues to find the attacker who put a gun to his brother Sırrı's head. The whole neighbourhood unites to pay for the surgery of Nafi, injured in the explosion.

When Ercan gets into trouble because of the fish he sold, Ali comes to his rescue again. This event increases Ercan's ambition even more and he again pursues unlikely things. While all this is going on, the police arrive at Madame Marika's door, but Elmira escapes.

When Ercan fires his fishermen and takes matters into his own hands, he gets into big trouble. Yasemin, who follows Eyüp and sees him with a woman, swallows more and more of her mother's medicine.

Eyüp receives a note from the organisation, and he is asked to take the life of one more man. Meanwhile, Ercan, whose business is not going well, receives risky but lucrative offer from two divers.

Elmira sends a letter to her contacts in Italy as she is more convinced that she needs to leave Türkiye. Meanwhile, Sami offers Ali the opportunity to work on a government tender in Yozgat.

Elmira's identity is revealed after the undercover police descend in the neighbourhood and investigate. Meanwhile, Ali's good deeds finally yield results and a doctor appears to perform Nafi's surgery.
