Following the unexpected death of Prince Alaaddin, Murad Han retires to Bursa, and his son Prince Mehmed succeeds him. Meanwhile, Vizier Çandarlı, whose goals clash with Mehmed's, sparks a rebellion.

After returning to Saruhan, Mehmed aims to win over the people by tackling piracy in the region. However, his efforts are interrupted when the Venetians bring a complaint against him, prompting his summons back to the Palace by his father.
