Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi: Aşkın Yolculuğu

Appointed as the regent of qadi, Mahmud settles in Bursa with his family. Important tests await him there and his uncompromising commitment to justice.

Finding the former qadi's death suspicious, Mahmud believes the qadi was murdered by someone who had a problem with him and searches through old case files for evidence.

Mahmud becomes too preoccupied to fulfill his duties as qadi while searching for clues surrounding his predecessor's death. Meanwhile, Dilaver Bey has special plans for the upcoming shadow puppetry in the public square.

Mahmud sends Doğan to search for Qadi Burhanettin's journals. However, it is revealed that he is not the only one searching for them.

Dilaver has a diary fabricated with the qadi's handwriting and gets it placed in the library.

Dilaver, who does not want anything to stand in his way on his rise to the government, sets a trap for Ödemiş, the strongest candidate against him.

Dilaver, who invited Prince Murad to the town for the ceremony, does not recognize him in disguise and ends up disrespecting him.

Prince Murad notices a change in Mahmud's behavior when he presents Mahmud with his ring after winning a debate with Simon.

When Dilaver accuses Mahmud of false authorship, the tension between them escalates. Eventually, Mahmud repents and asks for forgiveness.

As Mahmud seeks ways to mend the hearts he has broken, Dilaver and Üftade come to a disagreement.

After Nazırzade's death, everyone mourns. However, since a new qadi must be elected, the names of candidates begin to surface.

As Mahmud prepares to leave Bursa, he receives unexpected news. Meanwhile, Üftade reads the forged diary and realizes that the writings don't belong to Burhaneddin.

Dilaver is abandoned by his family after being sentenced. Mahmud punishes Burhanettin's murderers but is left with an emptiness he doesn't know how to fill.

Mahmud, whose condition has worsened due to his delusions, finds the solution by getting rid of his worldly possessions and swearing his allegiance to Üftade.

While Mahmud is excited about his new life, his wife and children are unhappy. Mahmud, who sells liver at the bazaar upon Üftade's assignment, is nervous because this is his first time.

Mahmud's asceticism weakens him and plays with his mind. Meanwhile, the women in the neighborhood ask Safiye to teach their children to read the Qur'an.

Mahmud keeps covering his ear due to a constant howling. Meanwhile, Üftade takes him and the disciples on a trip to the forest where he eventually names him Mahmud Hüdayi.

As Ramadan comes, the disciples distribute aid to the poor. Mahmud goes looking for grapes for Üftade and finds himself at the bottom of a well.

Üftade makes Mahmud his successor and instructs him to travel to Sivrihisar. Although Mahmud initially does not want to go, sets off on the day of Eid to end resentments.

Mahmud sets off for Bursa after receiving the bad news of Üftade being on his deathbed. He bids farewell to his teacher and leaves the city.
