Pray for Blood

Tabloid reporter Casasola and Lieutenant Mondragón investigate a serial killer who decapitates and mutilates his victims, leaving their remains on Aztec altars.

Mondragón believes that Casasola can help her, but he already has enough problems with his relationship, which is in crisis. Elsewhere, a new crime is beginning.

Casasola starts to succeed with his criminal reporting while Mondragón must decide between her mission and her baby. Meanwhile, a mysterious witch takes an ancient revenge.

Casasola believes that the crimes repeat the dire omens that heralded the defeat of the Aztecs. On the other hand, Mondragón finds a more down-to-earth explanation.

A body turns up on Isla de las Muñecas, and the relevance of the ritual killer case increases. Mejía and Mondragón realise that Casasola's ritual killer theory has been distracting them the whole time.

Casasola is forced to solve the crimes to regain his credibility, but Mondragón no longer trusts him. When all seems lost, a sinister discovery opens new doors to the investigation.

Mondragón is on the verge of losing her job and her marriage. Casasola approaches the lair of a demon, unaware that he is on the edge of hell.

Casasola and Mondragón collaborate again and close in on the witch, but her demon is still on the loose. And an unexpected murder makes it clear that the cycle of omens will not be stopped.

Casasola discovers too late that the demon is closer than they thought, and Mondragón cannot react in time. When the witch is released, the world is only one step away from being turned upside down.

The final confrontation will decide the fate of Mondragón -and if the witch is right, the arrival of a new world.
