Sinopsis:
Osman, a naive farmhand, falls in love with Emine, the daughter of his employer, Hasan Agha, who demands a high bride price. Unable to raise the money in the village, Osman goes to İstanbul to earn it but is robbed on his way back. Returning empty-handed, he finds his land seized and his father dead. Determined to make things right, Osman returns to İstanbul to recover the dowry and reclaim his land, with Şevket, his army buddy, offering him advice on getting rich quickly.
